Come join us for a Kayaking fun day ADVENTURE!!

This day event takes us to Killarney Ontario about an hour outside of Sudbury.

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION ARRANGED... MEETING POINT WILL BE AT THE PARKS BUILDING FOR KILLARNEY PROVINCIAL PARK 960 Highway #637Killarney, ON

Meeting time will be 9AM.  THE NOTE THAT A DAY PASS MUST BE PURCHASED (PER VEHICLE) ATTENDING TO BE ABLE TO PARK AT ANY PLACE WITHIN THE PARK FOR THE DAY.  The cost of a day pass is 18.58$.   ((CAR POOLING WILL SAVE ON COST))

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL PROVIDE THEIR RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENTS & ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER signed and ready to go at this time.  THIS LEGAL PAPERWORK IS REQUIRED BY OUR COMPANY POLICY TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR EVENTS.

At 730-745am Participants from Sudbury  that want to follow us in caravan to killlarney can meet Southend Canadian Tire and we will depart 8am.   We will be driving direct to Killarney Provincial Park main Parks building  960 ON-637, Killarney, ON P0M 2A0.

At 915am we depart the parks building and head just down the road 5 minutes away to the CHIKANISHING ROAD parking and boat launch area.  ( NOTE Parking day pass per vehicle is $18.58 and will be purchased by participants seperate from tour ticket)

• GUIDES will provide a safety briefing that all participants must get prior to departing.  Following the briefing we enter the inlet that leads us into the shores of Georgian Bay (LAKE HURON). Kayaking together as a group following the guide we will cross the Collins Inlet Channel and follow the shores of the Phillips Edwards Islands.

• event will take you for a kayak tour thru the majestic Phillip Edward Islands which is ranked some of the best locations in the world for kayaking. This location features wildlife and unique rock formations and vistas that keep us semi sheltered from the larger wave activity with the exception of certain openings. We will follow along the route on the shores of Georgian Bay and our guides will bring us to an exotic island location for a shore lunch.

Depending on the waves, weather and fitness level of participants we reach the fox islands and take inn a look view at the top of one of the islands which provide incredible views & photo opportunities of the area.  Either way whichever area we find ourselves at the mid time point of the event we will turn back and return to the starting point at which time we all assist in turning inn and loading equipment back onto the trailers.

After the event is finished participants are free to leave on their own time and head back to Sudbury.  We recommend a good meal at the docks of Killarney channel (Hubert Fish & Chips).  This is not part of the event and not covered however many participants and usually our staff go there to eat following the day out on the water.

*** PLEASE YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY FIT TO COMPLETE THIS EVENT & HAVE SOME KAYAKING EXPERIENCE.  THE WEATHER & LARGER WAVE ACTION CAN CHANGE AT ANY MOMENT ON THE GREAT LAKES & ITS IMPORTANT TO TAKE NOTICE THAT THIS KAYAKING EVENT WILL MOST LIKELY INVOLVE WAVES NOT SEEN ON INLAND LAKES & WATER SYSTEMS.  YOU MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO SWIM WITH YOUR LIFE JACKET (if you needed too) AND ALSO BE FIT ENOUGH TO ASSIST YOURSELF & STAFF INN RE-ENTERING YOUR KAYAK IF YOU HAPPEN TO TIP OVER INTO THE WATER.   THIS KAYAK EXCURSION ADVENTURE IS ABOUT 24 KM ROUND TRIP WITH ONLY A FEW STOPS ALONG THE WAY...  PLEASE BE SURE YOU REALIZE YOUR FITNESS LEVEL & MAKE SURE YOU CAN COMPLETE THIS EVENT WITHOUT HOLDING UP THE OTHERS IN THE GROUP AS THIS INTERFERES WITH THEIR ENJOYMENT OF THE EVENT THEY HAVE SIGNED UP FOR.   Thank you for your attention & consideration on these terms of service for this event***

BE SURE TO BRING:  Water shoes, towel, lunch & snacks, any medication you may require, water to last you the day trip, camera (optional) and spare set of clothes in a waterproof bag in case you get wet or end up falling into the water.  

PLEASE NOTE if you have any allergies or medications that the guides should be made aware of please pull staff aside prior to departure of the situation that could arise.   You can also send us the information prior to the event.  This information can be very valuable if an emergency arises.

The equipment rental is (included in the price of the excursion). Life jacket, safety kit, sea touring kayak and paddle.
